We’re a community-rooted nonprofit, and so much of what we do happens out in the community — at resource fairs, wellness gatherings, and cultural celebrations across Contra Costa County. We often need extra hands to make these events happen, and we’d love yours.
Where You Can Help
Ways to lend a hand
Most of our volunteer needs are around events — helping us show up for our community and make each gathering welcoming.
Community events & resource fairs
Help us set up, greet neighbors, staff our information table, and share resources at local fairs and community events.
Wellness gatherings
Lend a hand at our sound baths, drum circles, and wellness events in the park — from set-up and welcome to helping things run smoothly.
Cultural celebrations
Support our cultural events and workshops that honor the traditions of the communities we serve.
Behind-the-scenes support
Help with registration, preparing materials, organizing supplies, and the many small tasks that keep an event on track.
Bilingual language support
Spanish- and English-speaking volunteers help us welcome and connect with every family who comes through our doors.
Special projects
Have a skill or passion to share — photography, outreach, fundraising support? We’d love to hear about it.
Who Can Volunteer
Everyone has something to offer
Volunteering is open to community members of all backgrounds. Students looking for service hours and bilingual (Spanish/English) volunteers are especially welcome. No experience is needed — just a willingness to show up and help.
